What is lumsoc?
Established in 2005, Leeds University Malaysian Society (abbreviated as LUMSOC) has been one of the many major cultural societies registered under the Leeds University Union. We are also a society that is recorgnised by Education Malaysia (EM) and United Kingdom and Eire Council (UKEC).

What Lumsoc provides
LUMSOC is classified as a cultural society. However, our activities do not only cater to cultural aspects. We also strive to provide our members with opportunities to develop their skills to increase their employability, as well as assisting in ensuring their spiritual and welfare needs are altogether taken care of.
Our events portfolio are constructed with the notion of a holistic development in mind, be it spiritual, physical, intellectual or skills. Most importantly, we aspire to become a community where you can fall back to, feel familiar with and your home away from home in Leeds.
