TalentCorp is running a survey to find out how to improve graduates experience in finding jobs.

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Malaysia's economy badly, that also mean alot of graduate will be entering the workforce not able to find jobs.


Since 2012, the number of high skills jobs have been lower than the number of tertiary edcated labour force. With the pandemic, it had only just worsen the scenario. According to Department of Statistics Malaysia, the youth unemployment rate in Malaysia is 13.4% in the 3rd Quarter of 2020, as compare to 10.5% in 2019.







The lack of opportunities for youth in Malaysia, had cause brain drain in Malaysia, which is a big problem for the nation's goal to achieve a developed nation status. This had led the government to made certain reform to improve the situation, one of the many intiatives made by the government is the set up of a government agency that attracts, nurtures and retains the best and the right talent to enable Malaysia to reach its aspirations, they are uniquely placed to shape, influence and align policies, and develop demand-driven initiatives.




Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) was found for that purpose. They are a Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) agency that drives Malaysia’s talent strategy towards becoming a dynamic talent hub.

As part of their commitment to increase value for their initiative in facilitating Malaysian students which are currently abroad, they are connecting with students to help all students better understand how they can assist student's future plans after graduation.


TalentCorp also identified jobs that are critically in demand by the labour market. Here we lost out 10 which is not in ranks.
